People of Action

About Us

The Mission of The Rotary Club of Dayton is to foster a fellowship of diverse business and professional leaders who commit their time and talent to staying informed and serving the club, the community and the world.

The Rotary Club of Dayton is one of the oldest, largest, and most active civic service organizations in the region. Comprised of over 200 of the Miami Valley’s business, civic, academic, and nonprofit leaders, the Rotary Club of Dayton is committed to improving the community through service, philanthropy, and professional development. With hundreds of hours of service accumulated and thousands of grant dollars distributed each year, we are invested in Dayton and the Miami Valley.

During the 2024–2025 Rotary year, we distributed $104,000 in grants to 19 local nonprofits and volunteered countless hours feeding, clothing, educating, sheltering, and beautifying our community.

We joined with Kettering Rotary to clean up the Great Miami Riverway ahead of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

We meet on Mondays at noon in the Charity Earley Auditorium of the Sinclair Conference Center.

Guests are always welcome – please RSVP to contact@daytonrotary.com if you would like to join us.

Summerfest is BACK for 2025!

Summerfest, presented by the Rotary Club of Dayton, is back for a fun-filled night of music and community! This summer, we’re going to pack the Levitt Pavilion and close out summer with a bang.

Don’t miss your chance to connect with thousands of your neighbors while supporting the great work of the Rotary Club of Dayton Foundation – sponsor Summerfest 2025! All proceeds support our Foundation, a 501(c)3 that provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations throughout the Miami Valley.

The Rotary Club of Dayton Foundation

Serving the changing needs of the Greater Dayton community

The Dayton Rotary Club Foundation was formed by members of Dayton Rotary in 1954 by converting remaining funds ($16,517.00) from an old Dayton Rotary Student Loan Fund.

Vision

Become a visible community force to support organizations that demonstrate commitment to service above self, help young people and families in need, improve quality of life and foster a strong partnership with the greater Dayton region

Mission Statement

Provide leadership to leverage the Foundation’s resources as an expression of service to the Dayton region and commitment for the Rotary Club of Dayton

Avenues of Service

Our Club thrives thanks to engaged members who are active in service to the community. Through organized Club initiatives, we partner with organizations throughout the Miami Valley to serve and improve our community.

Through the Rotary Club of Dayton Foundation, our Club supports qualified nonprofit organizations through grants. The Foundation is governed by a board of nine Trustees elected to three-year terms by the Club. It meets quarterly to review and award grants.

With timely speakers and opportunities to hone your professional skills in service of the Club, we are as committed to growing professionally as we are to serving our community.
