“City of Dayton Police Update”
Chief Eric Henderson is a lifelong Dayton resident who has served with the Dayton Police Department since 1999. Throughout his 27-year career, he has held assignments ranging from patrol officer and narcotics detective to Sergeant, Lieutenant, Major, Assistant Chief, and Deputy Chief before being appointed Director and Chief of Police on May 7, 2026. Chief Henderson will be with us to give us an update on the City of Dayton Police Force and share his goals and vision.
