“Meeting Them Where They Dream: Building Pathways for
Children and Families”
A child’s future should not be determined by their ZIP code. Nichole Smith will share how East End Community Services is building a place-based, cradle-to-career continuum that supports East Dayton children from early
learning through high school, postsecondary education, and meaningful employment. The approach brings together schools, families, nonprofits, healthcare providers, employers, and residents to address the academic,
health, and economic barriers that no single organization can solve alone. Members will learn how coordinated whole-family support and strategic community partnerships can create lasting pathways to opportunity in East
Dayton.
