Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton Capital Campaign and Construction Cha Cha
RMHC Dayton recently celebrated 43 years of providing Community Comfort and Hope to families with critically ill and injured children and they are once again growing to Keep MORE Families Close. With the recent growth in pediatric healthcare specialties in our region, RMHC Dayton has seen a significant increase in demand for services. Last year the Ronald McDonald House turned away approximately 77% of the families who requested a stay in one of our 14 guest rooms. Additionally, the current guest rooms are not large enough to meet the needs of today’s families, the common spaces do not adequately support families, the current building is aging with ongoing maintenance needs, and the facility is no longer ADA compliant. The Ronald McDonald House Expansion project includes constructing a new 38,000 sq ft building that upon completion, will accommodate 42 families.
