Montgomery County Juvenile Court – A Judicial Perspective
Judge Capizzi will be retiring at the end of the year from the Montgomery County Juvenile Court having served 18 years on the juvenile bench. He’ll break down the statistical reality of who, why, and when parties use the juvenile court. He’ll describe the Court’s mission and detail the various services offered by Juvenile Court. Judge Capizzi will offer his thoughts on what has changed over his 43 years practicing law in Central Ohio and discuss challenges facing this community in protecting children and families while maintaining public safety. He’ll answer questions as time allows on a variety of topics, including juvenile justice, the Dayton Dragons, and local, state, and federal politics.
